Supporting our Veterans

So many of the Veterans I have had the privilege of photographing have suffered from PTSD and, before getting the necessary treatment, tried silencing the symptoms and pretending they weren't there.

This is one of the many reasons for my project with Veterans and why I wanted to help their transition period. This is also one of the many reasons why we need to support and help those who have put their lives on the line for our country, and support their adjustment from active duty to life as a civilian.

Let us pray for Mr. Kander’s healing and well-being. He did, after all, fight for our country, along with thousands of others in our military.
